NOTES FROM ALEAH ABOUT TIMELINE (adding per Aleah's request):
"Frank supplied a short response, but it looks like he's trying to work miracles to get all 4 containers finished before CNY.


From date of PO to Frank (let's assume Monday 12/9/24), Frank plans 21 days (3 weeks) for 1st container, then every 5 days after that. Yes this is faster than previous estimates, but it is because we have a PO and Frank knows his exact production capacity right now and how to maximize it. Given he has expedited this timeline, we need all remaining artwork pieces in 1 week instead of 2, by Monday 12/16/24 at latest, having TJ's immediate approval and sending to Frank immediately.


While Frank may have product done, it will also require our containers forwarders to have shipping capacity prior to CNY. We'll schedule as early as possible for best chances but cannot control their capacity.


If you want to be conservative, I would tell Micah we can committ to 3 containers shipping before CNY with delivery late January/early February ~10-12 week lead time across the 3. The 4th container would ship after CNY with delivery around mid-to-late March. On our end, we'll do everything we can to get that 4th container out before CNY"

All art will reamin the same from last production run with the header art being the only peiece that will change. Orange screen print is approved to start production.

Told client we need to updated header art by 12/16 in order to achieve the following:

Have 3 of the 4 containers sailing prior to Chinese New Year with delivery to client around late February/early March.  Have the 4th container shipping after CNY with delivery to client around end of March.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
